How to become a weather presenter?

Life is seldom straight forward….therefore some of us studied geography, languages and some even meteorology…

What are the prerequisites?

Knowledge in geography is helpful as well as a learning-by-doing approach and asking lots of questions….and….loving what you do!

Only reading a text …or what?

At RTL we do not read simply a text – written by whom?...we are our own “product managers”. After a briefing by a meteorologist we decide about the charts and how to present them, about the text (sometimes music) or doing an outdoor broadcast.

I am my own producer, editor and driver. “The sky is the limit” for creativity….or sometimes a “nasty” reality and too tight time frame.
